Cyberhaven is a unified AI and data security platform — they protect both AI systems and the data that feeds them. This is actually a gap in the market: most security tools are either for AI (LLM security, prompt injection protection) OR for data (DLP, data classification), but not both. Cyberhaven is trying to be the single platform for both.
They showed me their unified dashboard that does three things:
1. AI Security — monitors LLM inputs/outputs, detects prompt injection attempts, tracks AI usage patterns
2. Data Security — classifies sensitive data, enforces DLP policies, tracks data flow across the organization
3. Correlation — the interesting part: they tie AI usage to data access. So if someone asks an LLM to summarize a sensitive document, they can see that correlation and enforce policies.
This is genuinely impressive. The unified approach makes sense — AI and data security aren't separate problems anymore, they're intertwined. When you feed sensitive data into an LLM, that's both a data security issue AND an AI security issue. Having one platform that sees both is smart.
The demo was real, not just slides. They showed actual dashboards with real-time monitoring. The UI was clean and the correlation features worked in the demo.
Yes. This is the kind of vendor that could actually matter in 6-12 months as AI adoption accelerates. The unified approach is ahead of the curve. Worth a deeper demo to see how it performs in production.
Demo'd with their team at RSA. Check cyberhaven.io for more info.
